AfterNext HealthTech Acquisition Corp. (AFTR) to Liquidate on August 16
On August 2, AfterNext HealthTech Acquisition Corp. (NYSE:AFTR) announced that it intends to cease all operations except for the purpose of winding up, effective as of the close of business on August 16, and will redeem all of the outstanding Class A ordinary shares at a per-share price, payable in cash, equal to the aggregate amount then on deposit in the trust account, including interest earned on the funds and not previously released to the company to pay its taxes, divided by the number of the shares in issue.
The balance of the trust as of June 30, was $259,370,188. Net of taxes and up to $100,000 of dissolution expenses, the company currently expects the per-share redemption price for the shares will be approximately $10.41 and it anticipates that the last trading day for the shares will be August 15.
