African Gold Acquisition Corp. (AGAC) to Liquidate on September 8

On August 23, the NYSE notified African Gold Acquisition Corporation (NYSE:AGAC) that it had determined to commence proceedings to delist from the exchange due to the company’s inability to file its quarterly and annual reports.

The company does not intend to appeal the NYSE’s determination.

As a result, the company intends to liquidate its trust account and proceed with winding down. It expects to complete the redemption of all public shares on or about September 11. The company anticipates that the last day of trading on the over-the-counter markets will be on or about September 8.
