Dragoneer Growth Opportunities Corp. (DGNR.U) Prices $600M IPO

Dragoneer Growth Opportunities Corp. (DGNR.U), announced the pricing of their $600 million SPAC IPO this evening and the shares are expected to begin trading tomorrow, Friday, August 14th, under the symbol NYSE: DGNR.U.

Dragoneer Growth Opportunities will be led by Marc Stad, as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and Pat Robertson, as President, Chief Operating Officer and Director.

Total SPAC deal count for 2020 year-to-date is now 69 with $27.42 billion in gross proceeds raised. The offering is anticipated to close on Tuesday, August 18, 2020.


Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co., LLC, and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC are acting as book-running managers in the offering. Ropes & Gray LLP and Kirkland & Ellis LLP, were Issuer’s Counsel and Underwriter’s Counsel, respectively. WithumSmith+Brown, PC, acted as auditor. Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company is acting as trustee.
