Greenland Acquisition Corporation’s IPO Brings the Year’s Deal Count to 24.
Greenland Acquisition Corporation has announced the pricing of their $40 million SPAC and the unit will begin trading later this morning under the symbol GLACU.
For everyone keeping count, Greenland is the second SPAC to IPO this July, and the 24th SPAC to IPO for 2018, bringing the total gross proceeds for the year to $5.8 billion.

Greenland’s underwriters were as follows: Chardan, as sole bookrunning manager, and I-Bankers, as co-manager.

At the SPAC of Dawn So far, seven SPACs have announced their liquidations this week and although some others may choose to use the holiday to quietly disband, this tends to be a positive week for equities in general.
